I have been a registered Realtor in Ontario and with the Southern Georgian Bay Association of Realtors since 1988. With such longevity I have experienced the ebbs and flows of the market over the years and have enjoyed and continue to enjoy the industry and the challenges and rewards that it provides.
As a result, I have been active in the Southern Georgian Bay Board on Discipline committee as well as various volunteer positions with computer and forms committees. In addition to this I have taken a variety of sales, communication and negotiating courses that have enabled me to continue to be current and active in both negotiating and current issues such as enviornemnetal issues, planning act changes, insurance issues etc.
Prior to my life in real estate I was a criminologist in British Columbia and Quebec. I received my degree in Criminology from Simon Fraser University in 1979 and did system analysis for BC court system . Once I moved back east I worked in corrections w with street youth in Vancouver, Quebec and Ontario.
Upon moving into the Georgian Triangle, I became so enamored with the area and all it had to offer that I eventually got my real estate license. I have since enjoyed introducing new families into our area and providing them with the best service possible to fulfill their real estate needs.
RE/MAX four seasons realty limited was the original RE/MAX franchise in the Georgian Triangle area and was established in 1985. It is from this franchise that both RE/MAX of Wasaga Beach and RE/MAX Grey Bruce where derived from.
We have two office one in downtown Collingwood and the other in downtown Thornbury in The Town of Blue Mountains. There are thirty-two realtors that work for RE/MAX Four Seasons Realty and the office has a transaction ratio of 13 transactions per agent. There are 16 Brokers and 16 sales representatives within our office.
Our agents are diverse in both their background experience and clientele base .This enables us to cover an area from Wasaga Beach to Meaford and into the Beaver Valley and Osprey Township.
With the amalgamation of our board with Midland we can now provide service to our clients all around the bay.
Buying your first home is one of the most important investment and personal decisions of your life. It's also one of the most complex transactions you may ever undertake.
Deciding whether to buy or sell first can be tricky. If your RE/MAX agent finds a buyer for your existing home, before you've found a new one, you may find yourself living out of a suitcase if convenient closing dates cannot be negotiated.
